Amanda Segers is one of the most trusted Buyers Agents in Sydney

Why risk buying a home on your own, when you can have Amanda, one of the best Buyers Agents in Sydney, on your side instead?

Let’s be honest. What a typical home shopper doesn’t know about buying a home could fill a large house. After all, buying a home is something most people do only a very few times in their life. That’s why the smartest way to go about buying a home is not to do it yourself, but to turn to Buyers Agents.

Which then raises the question: Which Buyers Agent is the right one for me? We’re glad you asked.

What makes Amanda Segers a different kind of Buyers Agent is how she makes the entire experience enjoyable. Yes, we actually said enjoyable.

How can Amanda turn something as important and expensive as buying a home into a virtually stress-free and even pleasant experience?

Here’s how. Amanda doesn’t see herself as just a Buyers Agent. She is also part sleuth, part psychiatrist, part very gracious diplomat, part very hard-nosed negotiator, part shoulder to lean on — and always totally on your side.

Now let’s take these many qualities one at a time.

Having sold enough homes in Sydney to fill several nice-sized neighborhoods, Amanda knows the Inner West, lower, Mid and Upper north shore markets, and the agents who represent them, inside and out, and up and down. Which means she often finds out about homes that are going on the market before they’re even listed, a decided advantage for a home shopper like you to have, wouldn’t you say?

Amanda’s vast experience, coupled with her keen insights on how people act during the home selling process are why she can sense what sellers are thinking, rather than just what they’re saying. Just think how helpful this ability will be for you. Plus, Amanda knows how to finesse, cajole and gently — or not so gently — urge sellers into accepting the best deal for her clients. As evidence of this, there are few Buyers Agents in Sydney with her skills or her track record of success. Feel the stress meter going down?

Above all, Amanda is a great communicator — mainly because she’s an equally astute listener.

Just because Amanda will be performing all the major elements of finding you the perfect home at the best price, in the shortest time, doesn’t mean you’ll be a mere bystander in the process. This is all about your home, after all, and Amanda never forgets that. Which is why you’ll be kept closely informed every step of the way, from when she first begins the search, to the final round of the successful negotiation.

Finally, nobody knows the kind of home you want better than you do. That’s why Amanda listens not only to what you tell her about the home you want, but, even more importantly, what you tell her — not always with words — about yourself. Amanda’s uncanny ability to hear, see and feel what a client wants is evident in virtually every house she’s helped a home shopper to find. So they not only feel very good during the entire home buying process, they’re very happy with where it led them. To the best home in the world.

Sell a house, not your home

It was reported recently that after a brief lull, Sydney rental prices are on the increase yet again, rising to their highest average ever. The cost of renting is now about $500 per week and in some parts of the city that amount is just for a studio apartment.   The reason behind the high prices is the rising cost of property, which is seeing potential first home buyers having to wait longer and longer to save enough of a deposit to enter the market. It’s catch 22 that younger buyers have to pay more rent while they try to save, but unfortunately that’s the reality at this point in time. If you’re an investor, however, it’s not quite so difficult to acquire a smaller place to rent out. But while that $500 per week looks pretty appealing, there are some costs involved with being a landlord that will reduce what goes into your pocket.   -        Agent fees. While you can manage a property yourself, you might find yourself getting late night phone calls or hearing from the tenant with something urgent while you are away on holidays, so it is worth your while to enlist the help of an experienced property manager to keep an eye on things on your behalf. The cost of this is six – ten percent of the total rent, but it is an expense you can mention to your accountant at tax time and claim some rebate on   -        Landlord’s insurance. Heaven
